1. Who we are

Cocoon French is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Cocoon Languages. These terms cover your use of cocoonfrench.com and the paid Cocoon French Club membership at club.cocoonfrench.com. By using either site you agree to these terms. Contact: hello@cocoonlanguages.com.

2. The free site and content

The marketing site, YouTube videos and free downloads are provided free of charge. All content — videos, stories, workbooks, flashcards, audio, artwork and branding — belongs to Cocoon Languages and is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, redistribute, re-upload or bulk-download it.

3. Club membership

3.1 Account

Membership requires an account with a valid email address. Login is by magic link — keep access to your inbox secure, and don’t share your account.

3.2 Plans and billing

Plans: $4/week, $13/month or $69/year (USD). All plans unlock the same Club. Subscriptions renew automatically and are billed by Stripe until you cancel. Prices may change; we’ll give existing members at least 14 days’ email notice before a change affects a renewal.

3.3 Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel anytime via the billing portal (Manage subscription in the Club, or ask us at hello@cocoonlanguages.com). Your access continues to the end of the period you’ve paid for; we don’t give partial refunds for unused time. By purchasing, you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you waive the 14-day statutory withdrawal right once content is accessed. Nothing in these terms affects your non-waivable statutory rights.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the sites: no scraping, no attempting to bypass the members’ paywall, no sharing member downloads outside your household, no interfering with the service or other members.

5. Disclaimers

The Club is an educational resource. We work hard to make it excellent, but we don’t guarantee particular learning outcomes, uninterrupted availability, or that content is error-free. The service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited (such as for fraud).

7. Ending or changing the service

We may update, add or retire content and features. If we ever discontinue the Club entirely, we’ll give members reasonable notice and won’t bill further renewals. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts (this doesn’t deprive you of consumer protections of your country of residence).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to members by email and take effect at your next renewal. The date above always shows the current version.
